Infinite Choices of Life

Life is an infinite series of choices, mostly we have two choices in life. The good one or bad one. The good one makes our lives smooth, productive and profitable while the bad one makes our lives tough, confusing and uncertain. It depends on us what we choose. Sometimes, we got stuck between the choices we have in life.

Likewise, a month ago when I was doing a job hunt, I got two choices; the one had my interest and the second one had a vast scope. I chose the first one because I knew that I could try more, learn more, could be more propitious and strive to accomplish my goals in life. We make decisions in life and can not know which one is good for us but we have to trust our intuitions. If we follow our interest then we are likely to progress and work harder in that field.

Stephen Covey once said:

"You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage—pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically, to say “no” to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger “yes” burning inside".

Just remember the choice you make today could not only make your life happier and brighter but make a better world in which you live.

See the pictures, "Both are roses, both have fragrance, but one look more alive than just living".That's the difference a choice can make.

LIFE AFTER GRADUATION- “FRESHMAN YEAR OF LIFE”

“Finally I’m free”, that’s what we feel after graduation. Yes, It is kind of freedom from the shackles of semesters, exams and lectures. But it is also an end of many bonds which we had created in these four beautiful years. Those were the days when everyone has same class time slots but now you and your friends will have completely different schedules and different lives. Some of your friends will be going abroad for Masters, some are trying to find their interest in professional world while some are struggling with job hunts. So after graduation it’s true that your social circle will become smaller and smaller with time. That’s why most of us suffering from graduation blues.

Here are the few tips that I have learned so far from my experience after graduation.

  1. Keep your resume ready. Career opportunities can come when you least expect them. Try to approach people from the start of last semester. But don’t panic if you are not getting a positive response. After all, good things take time.
  2. Don’t lose hope. You will go through a series of not so good interviews, you will go home and wonder what kind of blunder just happened. The good part is it will all make sense once you catch that break and start working. Just remember always try to do your best and never concern about others
  3. The struggles don't end after you graduate. From finding a job to finding your interest, and to establishing your career, you'll learn all kinds of valuable lessons after you've bid lecture halls and books adieu. Use this as an opportunity to implement the many lessons you learned during your university days to life in the professional world.
  4. Don’t make a career plan. Make career principles. The types of work where you shine, things that interest you, and work that pays you fairly. Choose your workplace where you know that you can grow personally and professionally.
  5. Don’t stay in your sweet spot. Leave your comfort zone. Growth isn’t comfortable, so get used to stretching yourself.
  6. Catch up with your friends often, discuss your routine with them, don’t procrastinate yourself of doing such things.

Remember, if you can make it through this rigors face of life, you are more than capable of navigating your life in future. Especially, when you put your trust in the hands of the one who created you. You will be never disappointed because He is the best planner of all.
